Sidney Mohede is an incredibly talented worship leader and gospel songwriter based in Indonesia.
This a teaser of a behind the scenes movie I made for his concert called “Louder Than Life”. The concert is a celebration of Sidney’s 20th year in ministry.
The story is that I’ve always wanted work on a project with Sidney, so when word of the concert got out, I thought I’d present the idea to him.
We met two months before the concert and discovered that we had similar tastes in ideas, which was fantastic because chemistry is always important for a project like this.
We did everything with very simple equipment, but gave it everything we got. I filmed almost every rehearsal till the day of the concert.
Sidney is an amazing worshipper. You can see how his heart and passion comes through in these footages. But the fact is that it wasn’t just Sidney. The teamwork, energy, enthusiasm; the amount of care and attention poured into the production by everybody involved produced such a powerful momentum - It left an indelible impact on me.
Producing this project has been an amazing spiritual journey for both me and my wife. We’re so grateful of the opportunity. All Glory to God.
The audio track used is taken from the concert CD. The song is an Indonesian worship song called “Tiada Seperti-Mu” (None Like You in English), written by Sidney himself.
The behind the scenes documentary and this video will be included in the DVD of concert which will be released on January 12th, 2011.
I pray that my work can be a blessing to others.
Check out some still photos from the Rehearsals too:

I always love this kind of video. I know it is a commercial/ads, but the way the director created it, just like a behind the scenes video (documentary). I’m inspired. :)

Experimentelle Deutsch-Indonesische Musikvideos
Since 1998, the International Film Festival;Oberhausen has a special program for music videos (MuVi Preis) that shows German music videos. It has thus become the first international film festival to accept music videos as an own ART form, not only as an illustration and promotion for music. Music videos at Oberhausen are not evaluated based on their music, but based on visual an filmic aspecs.
Furthermore, Oberhausen recognizes that, being part of the mass culture, music videos are considered a variant of Avant Garde. Experimentelle, Deutsch-Indonesische Musikvideos is the first exhibition that brings together German and Indonesian music videos emanating from the Oberhausen concept.
The exhibition shows 31 experimental music videos, a result of curation of the Oberhausen Film Festival since 1998 untill 2007, under the programme:
Rettung Der Popkultur: Experimentelle Deutsche Musikvideo 1998 - 2003 and 2003 - 2007.The Exhibition presents 17 selected music videos from INDONESIA, produced between 2002 and 2009.

Your art should bring you joy, and If your art brings you joy, share it with anyone who will pause to take it in and be transformed by the experience.(Scott Williams)
An artist is someone who uses bravery, insight, creativity and boldness to challenge the status quo. And an artist takes it personally.” (Linchpin, p. 83)

This man is hilarious! He went to Apple store and made a music video :D
Eminem should give him a free CD or even concert tickets, and Apple.. please give him an iMac! LOL!
I got this from Misa Garcia’s blog.
This morning when i was preparing my sharing material about HOPE (for DATE / cell group), I felt that God led me to see this video (By the way, He knows that im in the Vimeo Community hehe..). So i did, and decided to share about this amazing journey of Penelope Grace Gorman to my friends.
Since the topic i chose was HOPE, God clearly showed me, how serious He is, in working behind the scenes, preparing and arranging great things for us, by showing me Penny Gorman and her parent’s story.
Hope is a firm assurance regarding things that are unclear and unknown (Romans 8 : 24-25)
A short story about Penny
Penelope Grace Gorman, a precious 2 year old who was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy.
On August 4, 2009 Penny’s mother Jina Gorman, her grandmother Laurel Fagg, and Penny were on their way home from visiting Penny’s great-grandparents in California when Penny suddenly got very sick. She was taken to the ER in Santa Barbara, where the doctor’s discovered that her heart was very enlarged. She was medi-vacced to the UCLA Pediatric ICU.
Once at UCLA, her heart rate and the fluid in her lungs continued to increase to the point where she was placed on a respirator. The medical staff tried to help her heart through medication, but it was not effective and she was placed on the heart transplant list. The decision was made for Penny to receive a Berlin heart. The device is attached to Penny through 4 tubes that are inserted through her stomach and grafted into the left and right ventricles of her heart. This device assisted her heart with pumping while she waited for a donor heart. She and her mom stayed almost a year in the hospitals, with a big HOPE.
Then God answered…
